Refund Policy

Our position

ProtectAffiliate does not offer refunds. This is a firm policy, not a default that can be negotiated case by case.

We hold this position because we believe it is the honest arrangement: we give you everything you need to evaluate the Service before you pay a single rupee or dollar, and we ask you to make a considered decision before upgrading.

The free plan is your trial — permanently

Most SaaS products give you a 7-day or 14-day free trial and then charge you. We do something different: the Free plan never expires, requires no credit card, and includes a full one-time audit of your entire affiliate link library across every source you connect.

Before you pay anything, you can:

  • Connect your YouTube channel, blog, or Linktree
  • See every affiliate link we discover
  • Run a complete one-time scan showing every broken link, stripped tag, and stock issue
  • Use pa.link redirect links and click analytics forever at no cost
  • See the hijack detection report showing which browser extensions are stealing your commission

By the time you upgrade to a paid plan, you have seen the product working on your own content. You know what it found and what it fixed. There is no unknown being purchased.

What is non-refundable

  • Monthly subscription payments — any month you have paid for, regardless of usage or cancellation date within that month
  • Annual subscription payments — if you cancel an annual plan before the year ends, no refund is issued for remaining months
  • Credit top-up purchases (Boost S, Boost M, Boost L) — once purchased, credits are non-refundable even if unused
  • Partial months — cancelling mid-month does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining days

The one exception

If ProtectAffiliate is completely unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to a failure entirely within our control (not a third-party outage from Supabase, Zyte, Vercel, or Razorpay), you may request a pro-rata service credit for the affected days.

This credit is applied to future billing. It is not paid out in cash and cannot be combined with other credits or transferred.

To request a credit under this exception, email hello@protectaffiliate.com within 14 days of the incident with a description of the outage and the dates affected.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to your paid plan features until that date. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan — your data, links, and audit history are preserved.

Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error (duplicate charge, charge after cancellation confirmation, etc.), contact us within 30 days at hello@protectaffiliate.com. We will investigate and correct any verified billing errors promptly.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension.
